
Amelia Kovach is a director, fiber artist, and yes-man with a passion for collaborative storytelling and new work. She grew up on her family’s livestock farm in northwester PA. She is currently an apprentice at the Arden Theatre Company in Philadelphia, PA. Crew Credits: The Stinky Cheese Man (Arden Theatre Company), Vanessa (Williamstown Theatre Festival & Heartbeat Opera), Indecent, Animals out of Paper, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf (Chautauqua Theater Company), Chekhov’s Dreamers (Copenhagen Theater Circle). Directing Credits: Something Bad Happened, Gutpunch, The Witch (Kenyon College). Awarded Distinction for Direction of Jen Silverman’s The Moors (Kenyon College). Apprenticed at Bread and Puppet Theatre in Glover, VT. Her puppets have been seen in productions of Godspell and Beowulf: Cleanup on Isle Fieve! (Kenyon College). Proud alum of City Theatre Company’s Young Playwrights Festival for her play, A Banshee Wails. Education: Kenyon College, BA in Drama, Concentration in Law & Society.
